In my exhibiton titled “Hypernatural” I had a section of images from the Hemophilia series. The cotton candy-like pink foliage is created through infrared photography. Images are beautiful and colorful, but also carry a more serious message about the vulnerability of natural ecosystems. For me they have a small scale model feeling, combining artificial and natural. Or perhaps they remind of images created with an electrone microscope.
